Actor Arden Cho, widely recognized for her role as the voice of Rumi in Netflix’s “KPop Demon Hunters,” recently tied the knot with orthopedic surgeon Christopher Lee. Their wedding unfolded over several days in the picturesque setting of Florence, Italy, and was attended by close family and friends who joined in the joyous celebration.
The couple first crossed paths through a dating app, and their relationship took a significant turn when they became engaged during a memorable trip to Maui in March 2025. Florence held a special place in their hearts, as it was the city where they realized they had found their lifelong partner, making it a fitting location for their nuptials.
The wedding festivities were a harmonious blend of cultural traditions and modern style. The pair honored their heritage by donning traditional Korean hanbok for the welcoming events. For the wedding ceremony held at the elegant Villa Cora, Arden chose a custom-designed wedding gown by Vera Wang. In addition, a traditional pyebaek ceremony was conducted to pay homage to Korean wedding customs.
Despite facing obstacles such as delayed luggage, travel disruptions for some relatives, and the challenge of a heatwave sweeping through Florence, the wedding proceeded without a hitch, marking a successful celebration of their union. Arden Cho, who has recently gained greater acclaim for her role in “KPop Demon Hunters,” is also involved in producing the forthcoming K-pop-themed psychological thriller “Perfect Girl.”
